Larry Harte is a 39-year-old graduate of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, where he earned a degree in civil engineering in 1990. He was a founding member of the Chamber in 2002 and joined the staff as the Executive Director in 2005.
Larry was elected to the Glendale City Council in April 2002 and then elected Mayor in April 2004. He represents Glendale on the Board of Directors of the Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) and participates regularly in the Colorado Municipal League (CML) and the Metro Mayor’s Caucus. Additionally, he serves on the Glendale City Planning Commission, the Metro Denver Health and Wellness Commission and on the Boards of Directors of the Four Mile Historic Park and the Glendale YMCA.
On a personal note, Larry and his wife Heather met in seventh grade in Cincinnati where they both grew up. They have two children, Lara and Harrison.
