Glendale Chamber Members Serve Up Networking And Pickleball At Business After Hours

The Greater Glendale Chamber of Commerce traded boardrooms for the pickleball courts on July 29, as members gathered at Glendale Park for one of the Chamber’s most unique Business After Hours events of the year.

Despite the inclement weather, the evening combined networking, recreation, and refreshments, giving members and guests an opportunity to make new business connections while enjoying one of the nation’s fastest-growing sports.

Whether they were experienced players or trying pickleball for the first time, attendees took to the courts throughout the evening. Selkirk, one of the sport’s premier equipment manufacturers, generously provided pickleball paddles, allowing everyone to participate regardless of experience level.

For those who preferred to cheer from the sidelines or simply catch up with fellow Chamber members over a Devil Dog Grill burger or brat, the relaxed outdoor setting created an ideal atmosphere for conversation and relationship building.

Launch Pad Brewery helped keep everyone refreshed by donating beer for the event, adding to the festive summer atmosphere. Members enjoyed cold beverages while connecting with fellow business professionals, community leaders, and Chamber supporters.

Business After Hours events are designed to help Chamber members build relationships outside of the traditional work environment. By combining networking with a fun activity, the Chamber continues to create opportunities for meaningful connections that strengthen Glendale’s business community.

The July event highlighted the Chamber’s commitment to offering creative networking experiences that appeal to both longtime members and newcomers. The combination of friendly competition, beautiful summer weather, and casual conversation made for an enjoyable evening in one of Glendale’s premier parks.

The Glendale Chamber of Commerce hosts Business After Hours events throughout the year at a variety of member businesses and community venues, providing opportunities for members to expand their professional networks while showcasing local organizations and amenities.
