Walmart is promoting a range of discounts on school essentials, clothing, and backpacks, saying it is offering its lowest prices on many basic school supplies since 2019.

According to the retailer, the 14 most commonly requested classroom supplies are available at reduced prices this season. Among the advertised deals are folders for 25 cents, notebooks for 38 cents, pencils for 47 cents, and crayons and glue for 50 cents each. Markers are priced at 97 cents.

In addition to classroom supplies, Wal­mart is featuring Rollback pricing on a variety of back-to-school items, including backpacks, shoes, and children’s clothing. A Hello Kitty backpack is listed at $11.97, while themed notebooks, pencil holders, and other accessories are also part of the seasonal promotion. Kids’ sandals are available for $2, and back-to-school dresses start at $12.98.

Teachers may also find discounts on class­­room supplies, including pastel Sharpie markers for $9.97 and highlighters beginning at $2.44.

To simplify shopping, Walmart offers an online school supply list tool that allows parents to search for their child’s school list and add required items to their cart. Customers can shop in stores, schedule curbside pickup, arrange home delivery, or use Express Delivery, which is available in the Denver area.

With the cost of preparing students for a new school year continuing to be a concern for many households, retailers are emphasizing value and convenience as families complete their back-to-school shopping.
