Halloween Fun Draws 2,000 To Glendale’s Trunk Or Treat Celebration
City-Sponsored Event Brings Families, Costumes And Community Spirit Together For A Spooktacular Afternoon
Ghosts, goblins, superheroes and princesses descended on Glendale on October 12, 2026, as an estimated 2,000 people attended the City of Glendale’s annual Trunk or Treat celebration, turning an October afternoon into a festive gathering filled with Halloween spirit.
The city-sponsored event brought together families, local businesses, and community organizations for a celebration designed to provide children with a fun and welcoming Halloween experience.
With costumes ranging from the spooky to the silly, children and their parents embraced the opportunity to celebrate the season while connecting with neighbors and members of the Glendale community.
Trunk or Treat events have become increasingly popular alternatives to traditional door-to-door trick-or-treating, bringing Halloween festivities into a centralized setting where families can enjoy activities and collect treats.
The Greater Glendale Chamber of Commerce was among the organizations participating in the celebration, welcoming visitors beneath its signature blue canopy. Chamber brand ambassadors dressed in festive costumes and greeted attendees while offering giveaways and an opportunity to spin a colorful prize wheel.
The Chamber’s booth added to the lively atmosphere, providing another opportunity for residents to interact with an organization that supports Glendale’s business community throughout the year.
The event also demonstrated the importance of partnerships between the City of Glendale, local businesses and community organizations. Celebrations such as Trunk or Treat offer businesses and civic groups a chance to engage with residents outside their everyday activities while helping create memorable experiences for local families.
With approximately 2,000 attendees, the celebration reflected the strong community interest in family-friendly events and Glendale’s ability to bring people together.
For children, the afternoon was all about costumes, candy, and Halloween excitement. For parents, it offered an opportunity to enjoy the festivities with their families. And for participating organizations, it was another chance to demonstrate their commitment to the community.
As the celebration concluded, Glendale’s Trunk or Treat once again highlighted how a shared holiday tradition can bring together residents, businesses and visitors in the spirit of community.
