Mayor Dunafon learns about the Smart Meal program from Shana Patterson of the CO Dept. of Public Health and Environment

The Glendale Chamber co-hosted a mid-afternoon Meet and Eat event at Garbanzo Mediterranean Grill.  Everyone enjoyed a free Smart Meal menu selection featuring an emphasis on flavor, freshness and authenticity as well trans-fat free. We heard rave reviews about how good it all tasted.  Glendale Mayor Mike Dunafon and City Council member Jeff Allen agreed and also said they learned a lot about the Smart Meal program.  Garbanzo partnered with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment to provide Smart Meal menu options that are lower in calories, fat and sodium and include the flavor and freshness that Garbanzo is known for.  Look for the Smart Meal menu at Garbanzo, and you’ll know you’re getting a Colorado health department-approved, healthy and satisfying meal.

Garbanzo is located at 630 S. Colorado Blvd.
