Lovely Afternoon: Joe Haskins, Chief of Police (left); Heather Prochnow Brecl, Compass; and Barret O’Brien, O’Brien Rugby, were among the attendees of the 2025 Chamber Ambassador Appreciation Luncheon.

The Greater Glendale Chamber of Commerce celebrated two of its members on November 13, 2025, as Bella Diva World Dance was named Business of the Year, and Chamber volunteer Herb Glasser received the honor of Ambassador of the Year.

The ceremony, held on the Chamber’s rooftop at the City of Glendale, could not have asked for a better backdrop: a picture-perfect 73-degree, sunny Colorado afternoon with clear skies, light breezes, and a panoramic view of the city’s Infinity Park Stadium.

Bella Diva World Dance, founded by Caitlin Brozna-Smith, was honored for its cultural impact, growing international reach, commitment to the Chamber, and commitment to arts and education across the metro area. The studio has become one of the region’s most vibrant cultural organizations, known for bringing global dance traditions to local audiences while cultivating a welcoming community for dancers of all ages and skill levels.

“Bella Diva represents everything we want to elevate in Glendale, creativity, entrepreneurship, and community engagement,” said Chamber President Mark Smiley, who presented the award. “Their continued growth and their positive impact on so many families made this an easy choice.”

The excitement continued as Herb Glasser, a familiar face at Chamber meetings, ribbon-cuttings, and community events, was named Ambassador of the Year. Glasser, known for his warm handshake, tireless networking, and enthusiasm for supporting local businesses.

“Herb is a wonderful Ambassador,” said Chamber COO Jeff Allen. “He shows up for everyone, new members, long-standing members, and anyone trying to find their footing. He also does a great job promoting the Chamber and recruiting new members.”

Chamber Ambassadors, board members, and distinguished City employees mingled well into the afternoon, enjoying refreshments, music, and the rare treat of a rooftop celebration in mid-November without a hint of winter in the air.

As the Chamber continues its mission to foster economic vitality in Glendale, this year’s award recipients stand as shining examples of the creativity, dedication, and community spirit that define the organization.
