A well-traveled dentist who has been interested in the profession since the age of 12, Dr. Jeff Johnston has spent time with all different types of patients in all kinds of situations.  Originally from Big Spring, Texas, Dr. Johnston practiced in San Antonio for 3 years and moved to Longmont, Colorado in 2006 where he spent two years at a very busy practice.  In 2008 Dr. Johnston created Ascent Dental Group in Denver, which he describes as “the culmination of his lifelong dental journey.”

According to Dr. Johnston, what sets Ascent Dental apart is the team of people he has hired, the atmosphere he has created and his continued dedication to keeping up with the latest dental technology.

“My integrity of educating patients on the best care possible is extremely important and the laid back, friendly home environment I have created is important as well,” said Johnston. “We like to make your dental experience relaxed and in a fun, friendly, open environment he explained.

He continued, “Practicing in the city is different as people come and go.   There are lots of mobile people and we have adapted to that.”

Dr. Johnston serves as a mentor on cerecdoctors.com, a worldwide online forum of 17,000 dentists who mentor other dentists about CAD CAM dental technology. He is looking forward to attending the IDS, the world dental trade show in Cologne, Germany, in March 2013.

While Dr. Johnston and his team are dedicated to ensuring the health and happiness of their patients, Dr. Johnston also credits the Glendale Chamber of Commerce for their referrals.  As a Chamber Ambassador, Dr. Johnston is glad to be part of the Chamber and is committed to attending, providing and helping out with events.
