The Greater Glendale Chamber of Commerce continued its popular Business After Hours series in September with an evening of networking, great food, refreshments, and conversation at Reivers Bar & Grill.

The event brought Chamber members, local business owners, and community leaders together at Reivers, located at 1085 S. Gaylord St. in Denver’s Washington Park neighborhood. The Chamber’s Business After Hours gatherings are designed to give members an informal setting to make new connections, catch up with familiar faces, and learn more about businesses throughout the greater Glendale area.

Reivers provided a relaxed neighborhood setting for the gathering. Rather than the more formal atmosphere of a luncheon or business meeting, Business After Hours events give attendees an opportunity to mingle and develop relationships in a casual environment.

The September gathering continued a busy year for the Greater Glendale Chamber, which has held Business After Hours events at a variety of locations around the Denver and Glendale area. The rotating venues also give participating businesses an opportunity to introduce themselves and their establishments to fellow Chamber members.

Reivers Bar & Grill has long been a fixture along South Gaylord Street, making the neighborhood restaurant and bar a natural location for the Chamber’s networking event. Throughout the evening, guests moved around the private area, enjoying refreshments while visiting with fellow members. The format reflects one of the Chamber’s primary goals, connecting businesses not only with potential customers and clients, but with one another.

Business After Hours has become a regular part of the Chamber calendar and offers an easy way for both longtime members and newcomers to become more involved with the organization. The gatherings frequently bring together people representing a wide range of industries, creating connections that might not otherwise occur during the normal workday.
