Bill Carson Interior Painting Specialists
is a locally-owned business that has been providing interior painting services since 2010. They are known for high quality painting projects with razor crisp lines which sets them apart from the competition. “People love that,” said Bill Carson, owner of Bill Carson Interior Painting Specialists. “It gives nice crisp lines where the wall meets the ceiling, baseboards, door frames, and windows.”
Their experienced and professional team specializes in the tape and caulk method, ensuring razor crisp lines. They only roll and brush to guarantee high quality and lasting results. “Some of the older homes in Park Hill and central Denver have coved ceilings where the wall curves up into the ceiling and usually has a little lip,” said Carson. “We can tape on the higher part of the ceiling and paint the edge of that lip and get a nice crisp line in that corner.”
Bill Carson taught himself to paint. In addition, he taught himself the tape and caulk method at his Lowry townhome which he is now kno
wn for. He also taught himself the business side of things. When Carson first started, he was a substitute teacher and would do summer jobs and side jobs to get his feet wet.
Carson can paint the inside of an entire home or just one room. They can do the rooms in phases, which as he says, helps with the budget and the chaos. He has five painters and they can all come in and paint and be efficient by accomplishing a lot in a short period of time. They do two coats of paint where many painters only do one. They will even do a third coat if needed. Carson will also come back for touch ups a few weeks after they finished if the homeowner requests. “I want to develop long-term relationships,” said Carson. “I have been doing this for over 14 years and I have long-term and repeat clients. I rely on referrals and neighborhood websites like Nextdoor to recommend us.”
Bill Carson Interior Painting Specialists boasts five-star reviews on Google across the board. “Bill’s team did a great job, first fixing lots of holes and gouges, and second, painting 2 rooms on schedule and highest quality,” said Jon Hood. “They are very organized pre, during, and post work even on a simple little project.”
“Just used Bill Carson interior painting to paint the risers on my stairs and some baseboards,” said Janine Koselak. “They did an awesome job! I’m so glad I didn’t do it myself. They finished early and were meticulous. Cleaned up really well, and went over it with a fine tooth comb. I would recommend them to anybody. Thanks again, Bill, and thanks especially to Veronica and all her hard work!”
One example of a job that Carson recently did is updating a banister inside someone’s home. This is a multi-step process with lots of preparation. They took the stained banister and sanded the stain, then vacuumed and dusted, applied a primer coat, and finally applied two to three coats of specialty paint for extra durability and easy cleaning for little handprints. They put up a dust barrier to keep the sanded dust out of the rest of the house.
