Linda Bartels, Senior Designer for Closet Factory, has over 15 years of experience and a Certificate of Interior Styling from being a guest host of HGTV’s “Decorating Cents.”

Closet Factory’s showroom is located at 8480 Upland Drive, Suite 200, in Parker, Colorado.

Mudrooms are Senior Designer Linda Bartels’ specialty. Bartels works with her clients at any level they choose during the process.

Closet Factory, a franchise that started in California, is celebrating its 30th year in Colorado this year and is the largest custom closet company in Colorado. Mark and Polly Lestikow are the franchise owners with 25 designers on their staff. One of those designers is Senior Designer Linda Bartels, who has been with the company for seven years.

Bartels started in the design business in 2008 in Chicago, when she earned a Certificate of Interior Styling from being a guest host of HGTV’s “Decorating Cents.” Bartels has lived in Colorado for 14 years and always thought she would live here since her mom took her, her twin sister, and her three older brothers hiking in Colorado when she was a little girl.

Now, Bartels is jumping into the community with both feet. “One of my New Year’s resolutions was to get more involved in the community because of my business and also I want to,” said Bartels. “I am proud to be a new member of the Chamber.”

Closet Factory, of course, has a large footprint in closet redesign, but many people don’t know they have a turnkey operation for other design within the home as well. They have 14 crews standing by to build based on the design Bartels and the customer come up with.

“60% of our business is closets but we also do any kind of custom storage,” said Bartels. “Especially during the pandemic, we designed home offices, kid workspaces, and that extra bedroom — that was used once or twice a year — now has a wall bed because we do Murphy beds and can make it a multipurpose room.”

A Murphy bed is an ingenious solution for your extra bedroom, home office, or guest space. Due to its inherent “hideaway” functionality, once the bed is folded up into its cabinet, it frees up floor space allowing the room to instantly become transformed into an office, craft space, or exercise room, rather than remaining merely a bedroom.

Bartels’ self-proclaimed specialty is mudrooms. “We do mudrooms, pantries, and garages,” said Bartels. “It’s all custom, not only the finish but it’s very detailed. We take an inventory on how you work in an office space for example.”

Closet Factory also wants you to feel safe when coming up with a design. They now offer three ways you can get a design consultation and select the best fit for you. Everything Closet Factory designs is personalized to your needs, style preferences, and budget.

Bartels is good at ballparking what the cost might be so time isn’t wasted. And she is good at keeping within the budget. “That’s what sets Closet Factory apart from other competitors,” said Bartels. “We really talk about the money part of it. It’s so important.”

“Jane and I can be ‘tough’ customers and you always made us feel good about expressing our concerns and getting the work done correctly,” said customers Rich and Jane. “Please know how much we appreciate your talent and staying with us throughout the process.”

Call Linda for a free consultation at 303-656-7191 and she will put together a design to meet your needs and within budget. She will set an install date and Closet Factory’s team will come out and install it.
