Huntington Bank: Painting The Town Green

Huntington Bancshares Incorporated is a $201 billion asset regional bank holding company headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. Founded in 1866, The Huntington National Bank and its affiliates provide consumers, small and middle-market businesses, corporations, municipalities, and other organizations with a comprehensive suite of banking, payments, wealth management, and risk management products and services. Huntington operates approximately 975 branches in 11 states, with certain businesses operating in extended geographies.

Huntington Bank has recently entered the Colorado market opening branches in cities such as Boulder, Littleton, and the most recent member of the Greater Glendale Chamber of Commerce, the 9CO development in Denver. They will open a branch in downtown Denver soon and have plans to open 20 more along the front range in the next five years.

“With these new branches, our goal is to bridge gaps in our network and provide convenient options in some of Denver’s most vibrant neighborhoods,” said Joe Nimmons, Colorado Region President, Hun

tington Bank. “Already, our bankers at these new branches have helped our neighbors achieve homeownership, start new businesses, and pursue their financial goals.”

Huntington is a full-service banking provider primarily operating across an 11-state banking franchise of Ohio, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. Our “Welcome” philosophy centers around deep relationship-building capabilities to best meet each customer’s specific needs. We serve our customers through a banking network of over 1,000 full-service branches, including 11 Private Client Group offices, and over 1,600 ATM locations.

“At Huntington Bank, we’re committed to serving families and communities throughout the Denver metropolitan area — including right here in Glendale, Cherry Creek, and the surrounding area,” said Nimmons. “A big part of that commitment is serving people’s financial services needs, and Huntington specializes in combining the breadth and strength of a national bank with a hands-on, local approach.”

For three consecutive years, Huntington Bank has been the top Small Business Administration lender in Colorado, lending more than $140 million to nearly 600 small businesses in the state since 2021.

“Here in Colorado, we have more than 350 employees serving customers throughout the region every single day,” said Nimmons. “We entered Colorado in 2021 with a network of 32 branches, and we’re currently working to add approximately 20 more throughout Denver, Boulder, and the surrounding area.”

Huntington Bank knows they can only succeed by nurturing the success of the communities they serve and their commitment to Colorado goes well beyond financial services. Since 2021, Huntington Bank’s colleagues have volunteered more than 4,000 hours to support the work of local nonprofits, and they have provided financial support to nearly 100 organizations that directly serve the communities where they do business.

This work is a key piece of Huntington’s $40 billion Strategic Community Plan, which is focused on fostering economic equality in under-resourced communities. “We’re also a proud member of the Greater Glendale Chamber of Commerce because we know that a strong business community is critical to quality of life in every city and neighborhood we serve,” said Nimmons. “At Huntington, we’re thrilled to be a part of this community, and we encourage our neighbors to visit us at any of our branches to learn more about Huntington.”

Huntington Bank is located at 4027 E. 9th Ave. (9th and Colorado Blvd.). Visit www.huntington.com for more information or to find a branch near you.
