New Ambassador Brian Zabroski Uses Technology To Help Businesses Grow

ACMEAdmin • April 26, 2013

Over the last 15 years, Brian has focused on helping technology companies grow their businesses. He currently serves as the Director of Channel Management for VXSuite.com, a cloud-based software business which specializes in network monitoring, phone system usage analytics and mobile device analytics. Simply put, if your business’s network, phone system and corporate cell phones are slow, have issues and are expensive, then his software reduces and eliminates these issues. The software is resold through an international channel of technology partners which report to Brian.

An avid member of both the Glendale and Denver communities, Brian stays involved through his roles as a Glendale YMCA Advisory Board Member, Glendale Chamber of Commerce Member, Committee Member for the Colorado Technology Association, Committee Member for the Downtown Denver Partnership and hockey coach for Arapahoe Youth Hockey and Mountain Vista High School. He has served in previous roles with comCables as Director of Marketing, Amata Inc. as U.S. Sales Director and with Vertical Communications as Sales Manager in the Western U.S. In 2003, Brian founded an equipment leasing firm called Rivalry Financial.

When Brian was involved with other chambers in the past, he says he felt lost at most of the massive events he attended and was disappointed that Ambassadors were unable to invest time with him. He says he is thrilled to be experiencing the opposite with the Glendale Chamber.

“The Glendale Chamber’s size is reasonable and I’ve been able to develop professional and personal relationships in a shorter period of time,” he says. “The events are more personable and it is wonderful to share time with many of the area’s business owners.”

He continues, “This organization has been an important part of our business’ marketing efforts. We gain additional exposure through the Chamber website and have been able to meet a number of members which has resulted in business leads and opportunities.”

Recently appointed as an Ambassador, Brian says he makes sure that no one has the same aimless experience in Glendale that he had at other chambers’ events.

“I am honored to serve as an Ambassador for the Glendale Chamber,” he says. “I remember the lost feeling I had when I attended an event at a larger chamber and I use this as incentive to make sure everyone at our events feel welcome.”

Brian points out that his business has benefited greatly as a result of his membership and as an Ambassador he wants to pass that along to others.

“It is exciting to meet new Chamber members and assist with quality introductions that may help their business,” he explains. “Additionally, I am able to meet new and prospective Glendale businesses, which allows me to have an impact on how and who their business will interact with in the community.”

In an effort to educate technology companies on how they can increase their business value through his hybrid managed service selling technique, Brian travels across North America. He is also the technology columnist for the Glendale Cherry Creek Chronicle and you can follow his columns at techspeakforthecreek.com. A Boston native, Brian earned a degree in Finance from Bentley University, Waltham, MA. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing softball, golfing, running on the Cherry Creek Trail and around Wash Park and playing hockey.
