As we head into the summer months and the sun is shining brightly, Dr. Ghiselli recommends steps to take care of yourself. First and foremost, she recommends wearing SPF 30 sunscreen every day. “Ideally, you should find a product you are willing to put on every day,” said Dr. Ghiselli. “I think a lot of us think that we put sunscreen on when we are active, going to the pool, going on a hike, but we really should put sunscreen on every single day.”

Pure Dermatology Denver celebrated its five-year anniversary in May 2023. Pure Dermatology is a boutique physician-owned dermatology practice that specializes in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, and strives to provide excellent dermatologic care with personalized patient attention. It was founded in 2018 by Samantha Ghiselli, MD, and Carrie Cera Hill, MD, two board-certified dermatologists.
The practice has grown tremendously over the past five years to expand its cosmetic division with the addition of two excellent licensed aestheticians, Katie Velasquez and Ashli LaMadrid, who have extensive experience in aesthetics and provide a wide range of services including facials, microneedling, laser treatments, including IPL, laser hair removal, laser resurfacing, and more. At Pure Dermatology the dermatologists and aestheticians work together to provide a comprehensive approach to your skin care needs and cater to the individual needs of each patient.
In 2022 Pure Dermatology has continued to grow with the addition of another board-certified dermatologist, Jessica Farahi, MD. With a background in nutritional sciences, Dr. Farahi prides herself in providing a holistic approach to treating numerous skin conditions.
